Digital transformation of the public sector

The “Digital Transformation” Programme mainly aims to:

• the provision, to citizens and businesses, of innovative public digital services and applications, towards the digital transformation of public administration and the local authorities, while ensuring privacy, data protection and accessibility
• the development of digital platforms to support business activity
• to ensure the interoperability of digital systems and services to further strengthen the Unified Digital Portal of the Government (gov.gr)
• to create smart cities by utilising innovative IoT technologies and applications
• the development of highly available and environmentally friendly data centers and cloud infrastructures,
• the expansion of wireless access points and the completion of the Public Sector Network

All above mentioned interventions are funded by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union
